Sowore: Buhari Only Used Nigeria As His Personal Medical Insurance Scheme

Controversial human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has berated former president, Muhammadu Buhari, saying that he added no value to the country.
Mr. Sowore, who was also a presidential candidate of Africa Action Congress, in the 2023 general election, described Buhari as an opportunist, who came to power for his personal gains.
Recall that the former president was confirmed dead by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Saturday.
Garba noted that the former military head of state died in a London hospital, at the age of 82.
Buhari was buried on Wednesday, in his Daura home, Katsina State.
Reacting to the development via his Facebook page, Sowore said that the former president only came to use presidency as a means to take care of his health challenge.
He said: “Muhammadu Buhari never came to build a better Nigeria.
“He came to use Nigeria as a personal medical insurance scheme to prolong his own life.
“At the same time, he cut short the lives of ordinary Nigerians by direct repression, poverty, insecurity, and hopelessness.
“His legacy is not of service, but of selfishness.”
